At the end of 2017, Takari Primary school began its journey into Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Program. We have developed the program under the name of Team Takari.
At Takari our core values are Respect, Responsibility, Kindness and Personal Best.
Our students are explicitly taught these values through classroom based activities and are encouraged to actively demonstrate these behaviours in the classroom, during breaktimes and as wider community members. Behaviour data is collected and analysed to guide our lessons.
KINDNESS: At Takari, we are helpful, friendly and care about others.
PERSONAL BEST: At Takari, we aim high, striving to improve and do our best.
RESPONSIBILITY: At Takari, we are accountable for our actions and words.
RESPECT: At Takari, we treat everyone and everything with dignity, compassion and consideration.
